Thank you so much for visiting Texas 23 Woodworks! I am 21 years old and have been doing woodwork for a few years. My love of woodworking has been passed down from my grandfathers and uncles. They have given me some of their tools as well as sharing their knowledge of woodworking with me. The name for my business was inspired by my love of anything Texas and my birthday. I always picked the number 23 for my jersey when playing sports. I also create custom boards. Please contact me if you would like to work on a custom project.
Process
Every piece of wood is unique. I try to bring out that special character by considering the grain and details that will enhance each piece. I take particular time selecting each board on every item I build. My desire is that the natural beauty of the wood will be the first detail you notice. The process of design is also a family affair. My mother gives her stamp of approval and helps design some of my boards. My dad helps with details and is generally "quality control."
Guarantee
I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come. If you encounter a design flaw or craftsmanship issue, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your item so we can work on correcting the issue. I recommend that you apply a board conditioner; like our Board Butter, after every 3-4 washes. To care for your board: Always rinse and wipe your board after use. Never leave it sitting in water and never put it in a dishwasher. I'm also always available to help you maintain the look of your wood.
